Pantone is a great resources to use. They are all about color and have a huge library of swatches. Their site also provides color inspiration and trends. It goes past color for design and considers the possibilities of color for everything. Resources
Adding Widgets
Widgets can be found under customization. They are all listed with a description of their function. You just click to add, maybe edit it a little bit, and save & publish. Bam!
Creating a Header Image
Creating a header was very easy. The most important thing is that it's the right size. I chose to make my header bold and emphasized. I chose to create my header without using a photo. I was more interested in just a simple color and type composition.

Search “Categories” in WordPress
Adding categories was new to me but it makes sense. It is a great feature to organize posts and make them easier to find. Categories can group specific post types with similar content. It is easy to add a category, the feature is on the side and it saves categories you already created.

Images: JPEG vs PDFs in WordPress
Adding images is very simple. If you've ever posted a picture online then you get the idea. Just click the insert content button, add new media, then locate the files you wish to upload. No big deal. JPEGs show as a regular image and PDFs appear as a link to the file.
